Why do people consume media?
To be informed, entertained, promote, advertise, and educate
Newspapers: to gain knowledge of current events
Music: as a form of entertainment and enjoyment
Documentaries: to further our understanding and informed of various topics which may interest us
Weather: to be informed about what the weather is for the day, helping you to plan for the day
Advert: to learn about new products/ services which may interest us, to persuade us
Entertain: gaining the attention of the audience so that they relax and enjoy the activity
Funny films on Netflix, Watching influencers on YouTube, Watching funny Instagram videos.
Educate/ inform: providing facts about a topic or answering a question. Informing is providing information whereas educating is teaching the audience/ consumer.
Netflix true crime documentaries, Online news articles, YouTube news channels
Advertise/ promote: raising the awareness of a product in potential customers. Trying to increase the popularity of a brand and persuade customers to engage or purchase it.

The call sheet
Tells everyone what time they will need to somewhere and what time
Splits the production into sections. Each section could refer to a scene and will contain all of the logistical information needed to make that scene happen (camera crew, equipment crew, timings, location, wardrobe etc.) Overall organising the production. The call sheet also contains any additional information that will help the actors/crew. The call sheet is distributed to everyone involved in the production.
