Time constraints
Time constraints.
- We only had a short amount of time to film many scenes
- We also had to move around to different locations which took time
- Writing the script
- Setting up the location
- Sourcing the equipment
- Going through and editing the footage, and sound
- Time to find and audition actors
Producing a media product always has a deadline like any project.
If not met, could lead to failure, financial loss.
Timescales work in reverse from the ultimate deadline, e.g. the release date of a movie.
Within this overall timescale, the project may also have time constraints linked to:
- Location film set/TV show
- Studio- recording
- Equipment (borrowed/rented)
- Staff like actors/writers (other commitments)
- Catering/services (budget allows for limited time)
